DH Asht (Same side PO)

Coaching Cues:

 

  1. Start from a double-handed neutral position. Legs are shoulder-width apart. Keep the knees soft.
  2. The direction of the punchout is with reference to the hand on top. 
  3. In this version, we punch out to the same side of the top hand.
  4. Rotate the torso along with it and perform a double-hand Ardh vrit.
  5. The next part of the movement is a rotational pullback where you would take the weight behind the back and rotate the torso along with it to the starting position.
